Michelle is an Associate Director in our VAT team and leads both our VAT and Customs service lines. She specialises in helping overseas businesses navigate the UK’s complex VAT and customs landscape – whether they’re moving goods into the UK for construction projects or supplying products for wholesale and retail.
Michelle also advises on the VAT treatment of services, helping clients determine whether the UK is the correct place of taxation or if the VAT liability sits elsewhere. She also supports clients with customs duty issues – from valuation to classification and HMRC audits. With a practical, solutions-focused approach, Michelle works to keep supply chains running smoothly, minimise indirect tax costs, and ensure full compliance from the outset.
